Puregon (Day 14) & Cik Esah

Met up with Dr. J yesterday and a tinge of me was being optimistic, that my eggs have grown bigger than the last appointment. But nah, it stayed at 12mm. -__- He told me to go on another set of the Puregon injections and come back on Tuesday next week. It’s a continuation of waking up early morning for the shots that makes me all zombified. Routinely lifting up my top, jab and then go back to sleep for a short while before getting ready to go to work. I must admit that after 14 days of morning shots, it’s kinda taking a toll on the body system. Ngantuk ok!

I asked Dr. J, how long of a duration can I be put on for Puregon shots. My mentality that it has to be within the ovulation period. For NORMAL (sic!) people, it’s be from Day 8 – Day 15. But Dr. J said that it can be ongoing, until the eggs grow to 18mm. In my mind, it’d be like if it doesn’t grow, I’ll be on the shots till my next cycle (which is God knows when!) Hu hu hu… pocket pain! Let’s just wait and see Tuesday then.

I went to Cik Esah for my routine massage earlier on after work. I think it had been a month since I last went and I tell you (!!!!) the body was aching all over. When she massaged me, it was all too painful at first but then again it’s my body and my own “body faults”; different people would be different I guess. So as usual, she massaged out the “knots” in my body, sengkak and pushed back my womb in place. Somehow this time it felt quite painful than usual. She did mention that it could be coz of all the medications and jabs that I’m taking plus riding the bike, as it does contribute to the womb “falling downwards”. But despite the pain, I must admit that after the whole session, I felt lighter and more relaxed. Cik Esah was telling me how to rise up from sleep properly, by using your elbow up and pushing up slowly as all this contribute to your well-being. I guess being the mother she is, she was trying to comfort me and said… “Kita dah usaha, baik traditional & western, so redha aja lah. Mungkin blom masa nya.” Alahai taching lah Cik Esah but it was much appreciated lah. Then she goes about showing me simple exercises to do. I wonder how she could raise her legs up straight in the air and again SPLITS! Flexible lah nenek ni! I told her she could very well fit in a yoga class. :p

I did tell her that there were some who approached me to get her contact. Word of advise – her number is a home line so if you don’t get her during the day, try again at night as she may be out to ppl’s house for massage appointments. She only does house massages if you have just given birth, other than that, it’ll be at her home. 🙂
