Seeing Red!

This entry may be TMI! Finally I made an appt. to call up Dr. J and collect all my test results… *dreaded test results* This was 2 Fridays ago and being the “always-do-things-without-waiting” kinda person, I called up KKH to set an appointment with Dr. S. She was recommended to me by Tini Kruzgal. She is the Director of IVF at KKH. So I managed to secure a date the next morning. We came and met up wit Dr. S @ 11.45am and showed her all of my records. She was kinda surprised that I’m resistant to Metformin and Clomid, even after being given the highest dosage. Not to mention a failed pre-IUI jabs… the darn eggs just won’t grow! -_____-

So here we are and Dr. S is asking us when we’d like to go for IVF. Of course we said as soon as possible but she wanted us to try one more time the natural way. She gave me Dydrogesterone to induce my cycle, different from the norm Norethisterone that I have been taking. And so on X’Mas eve, lo and behold! I have never been happier seeing red! :p Today is day 3 and I wish I could curl myself up like a ball or even twist my self like a pretzel so that I could get all the bad blood out, clots and all! 6 months of it not coming out is no joke!

She also asked me to try and take an alternative of Clomid and Metformin, something new called Letrozole 2.5mg or also known as Femara. Here’s a link to show the difference between Clomid and Femara – http://www.advancedfertility.com/femara-letrozole-fertility.htm. So let’s see how this meds work for this messed up body of mine before we decide to try IVF.
