I think both Karina and I met each other while we both had our scoots and at that point of time. We always rode past each other at the expressways and along Jurong West. We always would acknowledge each other and happen so to find each other on through FB. Though we have never met up before, we somehow clicked and through FB, we said our Hi’s and commenting on each other’s images as though we’d been friends for a while.

So recently, while reading through the daily Yahoo News, I caught sight of her name in the article about a hit-and-run accident in New York. We were just talking about NYC and how her brother was there doing a course, through her Instagram. So upon reading that article, I went to her FB and true enough, it was her brother who was involved in the accident. You could read more about the article here and here.

His hospital bills was estimated to be about SGD $630K! He’s already moved out of intensive care and continues his recovery from head trauma, broken legs and a fractured pelvis amongst other injuries.

So here I am just helping to spread the news. Karina has a flea market coming up this 27th July 2013 – raising funds for her brother. The details are as follows below. Come down, say “Hi” to her and see what you like.
