Woe and behold! Grrrrr! I have always been going to Phoon Huat for my baking supplies, once in a while to Sun Lik @ Bras Basah, eventhough their items can really be much more expensive than the norm. However recently, I got quite agitated with Phoon Huat stores as well as their staffs involved especially the ones in Holland Village. Nothing is ever there (well, the ones that I want lah) When asked, they always say that the shipment is not yet in and a few month later, still the same! Did a company just came in and swoop all the stuffs! :/

A colleague of mine was asking the one in Holland V if they sold dowels. The staff gave a straight No and when asked if they even know what a dowel is, the staff replied No! Seriously it was a WTH! moment for us. Was a major turn off. I have a set up that needs about 800 small cupcake cups in white. I’ve been to a few outlets. All sold out and when I asked a staff if I could order or check with HQ. Her reply was, “Even if you place an order, we also won’t know when it’ll come.”

-_____-  So now I try to travel a lil’ bit to find baking stuffs. Here’s a few places that I go to to get my baking stuffs. Though it’s a little pricier than Phoon Huat.
