Disclaimer: It Wasn’t Me!

It has come to my attention that there is this new events company who happens to have their company name that sounds like ours and the owner’s name who has a simililar to mine. I shall not name names for now since it has not affected us in anyway (yet). Hopefully never. But this lady was from an established wedding & events company, whom we have worked with before, and it’s known that she went MIA from that company after trying to con some people out of their moolahs. And now she is starting her own company. I have her IG nick as well.

How I know all this? Well let’s just say a colleague’s cousin who bakes. She took orders for cake-in-a-jar from this lady, lady came and promising to pay the cost via fund transfer but it has been 2 – 3 weeks since the payment. Always coming out with reasons for the delay in payment. Though the amount is small but still. There were also rumours that she took up events but cancelled at the last min.

Usually when I hear about this kinda vendors/ company, I’d normally just read and take note but knowing that people might mistake it for me and my company and may affect us in the long run if that company still do what they do. I’m also putting this up so that other bakers who is reading my site, be careful when taking in orders from other people. No matter how small the amount is, please do take in a deposit first or to collect payment before releasing the items to people, unless of course you have a good relationship with that person. Singapore is too small to be doing these kinda things. Eventually word gets around and you’ve got no where to hide.

So here’s a disclaimer, people know how our logo looks like, invoices are given out, we have everything in black and white when payments have been made to us and so far alhamdullilah, we try to do our best in delivering what we promised. If there are any bad rumours that you may have heard about us, please do confront us and we’ll do our best to rectify it.
