Both the partner and I were pretty excited when we were able to get this gig. All thanks to my ex-colleague Su. We met up with Sheena’s 2 aunts, Su and Sheena’s mother, coming to the appointment all prepped with boxes of macarons for them to sample. We were glad that they liked our macarons and when they agreed to have us for the wedding, all we could do was to show ourselves being calm and collected in front of them. We couldn’t say a work to even out close friends. Came the event day, it was nerve wrecking. May not be anything to some but it was for Taufik-freaking-Batisah! Hahhahaha.
