Driving Frenzy!

Ever since I got my 3B and ever since the hubs got his new turbo ride, I have never driven that car on my own without him breathing down my neck. I think he’s more worried about me damaging the car than worrying about me at all *chets*. The list of his worries ranges from “the multi-storey carpark is too narrow”, “you are not confident yet”, “why are you driving too slow”, “Don’t press on the accelerator too much, later it’ll go on Turbo mode!” and many more lah – so ngiau one this pakcik!

So the 1st time that he allowed me to drive on my own was when I went out with the ladies, so it was from CCK – Yishun – Hougang  – Kallang – Yishun – CCK. 1st mistake, I looked too far and went off on a red light at a minor road at Hougang! *gasp* The girls were like ” TTTTIIIINNIIII!” Ok dah cuak japs… Next was when I was sending Gum home, it suddenly started to rain heavily near the Lentor exit. *kancheong mode on coz 1st time driving when it’s raining!* Expressway somemore! Nak on wiper pun lupa mana! *sigh* I needed to chg lane to the Lentor exit and I was more concerned about the bikes going in btwn. Damn the other road users! Dah signal pun they don’t wanna give way! Gum sampai stress… Sorry Gum! Jgn serik ok.

Good Friends I HaveGood Friends I Have!

So the next time I had to drive the car was for Lola. I requested my younger bro to help me coz I was more worried about getting to unknown locations on time since we had two events one after another. As expected he did not wake up on time so I braced myself for the day. The thing about me is, I can drive confidently if I know where I’m going, else siap! BBBBUUUTTT… I’m lucky the partner knows her directions and was calm throughout! But when I do repeat or do something other than what she says, ah siap! Hhahah! Even I myself shake my head when I recall back the things I do. She ask to go straight, I can ask her, Ah? Right? *facepalm* But after that day, I’m proud that we did everything on our own and did not depend on others. The sense of satisfaction was overwhelming for me. 🙂 Glad that the events  went well. The journey we had that day was CCK – Hougang – Tampines – Woodlands – Toa Payoh – Tampines – Woodlands – Hougang – CCK! Luckily the wagon could intake all our loot from the food items to the deco stuffs! Jgn serik ok partner, you’re tied down to me lah with Lola. As Gum would say, “You Sabar K!” 😀

With the husband working on Sunday, I literally slept till 4pm! If my mum were abound, confirm dia start mengamuk… But before you judge me, this made up for not sleeping the day before and before that. Baking and not sleeping till Saturday morning and went out driving the whole day and my day ended only at 1am!
